Maintenance Recommendations
Avoid Hot Water and Steam: Refrain from wearing your water-resistant watch while in contact with hot water or steam (e.g. hot baths, saunas).
Cleaning Steel Bracelets: Regularly clean your steel bracelet with a soft cloth to prevent corrosion caused by sweat. All water-resistant watches (except leather straps) can be cleaned using a brush and soapy water. After cleaning, rinse off the soapy water and dry with a soft cloth.
Caring for Leather Straps: Clean leather straps using a small brush dipped in a bit of soapy water. Quickly brush away dirt and rinse with clean water. Dry with a cloth and apply leather conditioner (if applicable). For those with sensitive skin, it's advised not to use any conditioning products on the back of the strap.
Regular Servicing: We recommend having your watch serviced every 3-4 years by an authorized Feike service center or retailer.
Protective Films/Stickers: Remove any protective films or stickers from the watch case back before use. Prolonged exposure to sweat can lead to corrosion.
Temperature Extremes: Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperature changes (e.g., rapid transition from direct sunlight to cold water) or temperatures exceeding 60 degrees Celsius or below 0 degrees Celsius.
Magnetic Fields: Keep your watch away from strong magnetic fields, such as speakers, mobile phones, computers, refrigerators, and other electromagnetic devices.
Impact and Shocks: Protect your watch from strong impacts and shocks, as they can damage the timepiece. If your watch sustains a significant impact, have it repaired at an authorized Feike service center.
Avoid Chemicals: Prevent direct contact with solvents, cleaning agents, perfumes, cosmetics, etc. Exposure to these substances may corrode and discolor the strap, case, or gaskets.
Quartz Battery Replacement: Replace the quartz watch battery promptly when depleted to prevent leakage and potential damage to the watch movement.
Storing Quartz Watches: If you plan to not wear your quartz watch for several weeks or months, pull out the crown to stop the watch and conserve energy before storing.
Your commitment to following these guidelines will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Feike timepiece. Thank you for entrusting us with your watch and allowing us to be a part of your journey through time.
